    Description

    These two telegrams were sent to my father from his future wife and her family.  The photos show both of the notes nicely.  The December 24, 1930, telegram was from the family and their dog of my mother Eleanor Scholz in New York City. The December 25, 1931, telegram was from Eleanor to my father Russell in Mankato, MN.  Both thanked dad for gifts and included Christmas greetings.
    They were married in 1932 and I was born in 1939...their third child.  With my brother and sister now gone...I am selling my family memorabilia in hopes of finding others who have collections and will cherish them into the future.  Mother moved from NYC to Mankato where they shared life for the rest of their lives.
    The date of the 1930 telegram is on the upper front and the date of the 1931 telegram is on the back.  There is one envelope...to which telegram I'm not sure. I couldn't find the second envelope. But one envelope is obviously a big plus.
