, one front page has been professionally dry mounted onto a piece of illustration board for preservation & display purposes (August 9, 1945 Boston Traveler, 16" x 22.5"). This front page states -
"A-BOMB RIPS NAGASAKI - Atomic Experts Confer with President."
A ready-to-frame wartime display.
Condition on all is considered FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Miscellaneous fold tears, edge chips & age yellowing. Several scattered pages have more extensive edge/fold tears (one page is almost completely split in the center, but full content remains). Dry mounted front page has yellowed with age and shows minimal fold tears and chips.
Overall, considering the fragile nature of newsprint, we feel these pages are very displayable by most standards (see photos).
