    The Medallion measures 39 mm or 1 1/2" in diameter and is

    Note:  The obverse features Stephen Mather and reads "STEPHEN T. MATHER - FOUNDER...NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON STATE PARKS."
    The reverse features a Large "50" in the Flames of a Camp Fire and reads "GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY...1921 DES MOINES, IOWA 1971."  (Unless specifically described as 'toning,' any gold, green or purple hues appearing on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
