Up for your consideration is a 3 cent Daily Times Chicago Picture Newspaper from February 15, 1945, featuring WWII stories and so much more!! This newspaper belonged to a deceased relative who was a prisoner of war in Krems, Austria. His wife saved all the newspapers from the times hoping to hear word about prisoners of war. The newspaper has been stored in a trunk for 75 years and is in great shape. The paper features so many stories about the war, wounded soldiers,advertising from this period, comics ( Superman and more), editorial cartoons, sports (boxing with Ray Sugar Robinson, more) , ads for movie shows with famous stars, and more, more.
