    Description

This is a terrific lot of 6 miniature Servicemen's Edition of Pittsburgh Sun Telegraph Newspapers from April and May of 1945.  Each one includes tons of photos, sports section, comics, Louella Parsons, politics, and much more!  These six are all from the Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph and were given free from Spear & Co. Furniture Store for families to send overseas to their military sons and husbands to give them a taste of home.  These are chock full of World War II news and even has the issue with Roosevelt's funeral.
Here is a listing of the titles and dates:

Overall condition is very good with age yellowing, some very minor splits on a few of the papers. The only large split is on the 6th paper as shown in the last photo.  Any other splits are inconsequential.
Some of the papers were dated on the inside page, others I deduced the date from the comics or other articles. They are 6 papers in numerical sequential order from April through May of 1945.
They measure 8" x 11" and each paper has 12 pages total.
Please view all photos as they are part of the description.  These are truly fascinating documents of our nation's history and very interesting reading, from local to national to international subjects of interest and the pictures are great.
