Rare antique miniature cloth
Tallit or Jewish Prayer Cloth commemorating the Temple Israel Synagogue in Lehighton, PA.
Miniature Tallit measures 8" x 4", both ends have two-tone fringe approx. 1/2".
Beautiful craftsmanship, this item looks like it is made of silk but could be another fabric.
The Tallit has an embroidered piece stitched along the top horizontally that contains a line in Hebrew and underneath in tiny lettering it reads
Temple Israel, Lehighton, Pa
