    Description

    "Official Illustrations of the St Louis Zoological Park, issued under the auspices of the Zoological Society of St Louis. Fine embossed cover illustration depicts a lion roaring at a small monkey hiding in the trees. First pages are devoted to discussing the Zoological Society of St Louis, including meetings from their last meeting and a images of each member of the society's board. Other than a list of the society's membership at the end, this 45p booklet has page after page of images from photographs of the animals living at the zoo: lions, tigers, ocelots, red foxes, armadillos, and more. Many photos are accompanied by captions with the animal species and name. Also includes photographs of the zoo itself and snapshots from some of the events held at the zoo during the year.
