    Description

Ernie Pyle WW2 Original Newspaper Article Clipping While in Italy
An article by Ernie Pyle in English from an American newspaper.  The article is regarding Mr. Pyle's streak of having an illness in every country he visited, and he finally got sick in Italy.  It is also about a pilot's narrow escape in combat.  That pilot was a salesman who back in the States was connected to a Pontiac convertible Mr. Pyle purchased.  The car was to be the sale for the pilot, but it was relocated to a different dealership to sell to Mr. Pyle.  Upon learning this in Italy, the two became friends.
About 2-1/2" wide, and 17" long.
This would make a neat and unusual gift for those who study WWII history.
Used, as-is.  Article was clipped from a newspaper sheet.  Remainder of newspaper is not available.  Paper is aged, folded.  See attached pictures.
May be shipped folded as that is how it has been stored for many years.
