Description
Heisey introduced the Puritan (Colonial) pattern in 1903 and produced an extensive line of dinnerware until 1938.The pattern was dormant until 1939 when it was reintroduced under the name Old Williamsburg, and production continued until the factory closed in 1957.
The Old Williamsburg molds were acquired by Imperial Glass, and from 1966 until 1980, they manufactured an Old Williamsburg candy jar with a lid.
They were made in various colors that were not used earlier by Heisey.
Offered here is a verde (light) green color footed candy jar with a thick rim.
It measures about 8 ¼” high (including the lid), a little over 4” in diameter, and holds around 12 ounces.
This candy jar is in excellent condition with no chips or nicks.
It is a very attractive item to add to your collection or home décor.
