DESCRIPTION
:
This auction features a vintage 14K/585 yellow gold and white pearl bracelet.  I
will openly note that I am not a pearl expert;
however, under close inspection the pearls are not perfectly round. Even so, they do have a really nice reflection -- which I know is important.  Each pearl bears a slightly smaller gold bead in between it.  I do believe these are actual, tiny gold beads -- albeit likely hollow.  The clasp is a slide hook style piece.  It is marked on one side with, "I.P.S." and on the other side with, "585." I do believe the "I.P.S." marking to refer to Imperial Pearl.  The 585 marking also denotes 14K gold.  The pearls and gold beads are on a very thin but sturdy cable type wire piece, as well.
Although I do feel this piece has definitely been worn and well-loved in the past, I also feel it has plenty more years of life and wear left in it.  Please do view the pictures as a part of the overall description, as well. I am considering the age and use of this item when factoring the condition rating

This bracelet appears to be in Fair condition for the age and use of it. It does have some minor usage and age wear seen --
mostly in the form of minor flaws to the pearls & gold beads
.
I did note unevenness to a few of the pearls and one or two tiny dimples to the gold beads (which I do believe are hollow).
As far as I can tell, most of this cannot be seen with the naked eye; however,
it
CAN
be seen under magnification or a loupe
. Please do keep this in mind.  The clasp bears a slide hook style piece, and it does still open and close securely.
Although it is not perfect
, I do still feel it could be worn and used.
