    Nice lot of five issues of the New York Sunday Mirror, each from 1942. Each issue is intact and 20 pages, in generally good condition, showing light general wear, usually at the border or corners, but none with any major issues. Here’s what’s included:
    August 30, 1942. Hero on the home front.
    November 1, 1942. Lexington Unconquered. Rebirth of the Queen of the Flat-Tops.
    October 4, 1942. Carole Landis and non-autographing fan.
    October 25, 1942. Navy Day Team: Coast Guard, Marine and “Jack”.
    November 22, 1942.  A Fighting Thanksgiving Day.
