One of a Kind Vintage Goodard State Park, KOA, Sandy Lake, Pa Die Encased Penny

A circa 1950’s/1960’s One of a Kind vintage Goodard State Park, KOA, Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania steel die to manufacture encased pennies.  The steel die would stamp out probably aluminum Horse Shoe encasements that would probably have a Lincoln penny in the middle of the Horse shoe.  The die was with other dies from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
The writing on the die is reversed so it would show correctly on the aluminum encasement.
The steel die is very heavy for the size and weighs 11.7 ounces and states
“GOODARD STATE PARK, K.O.A.,
SANDY LAKE, PA.”
The steel die is 1 1/4 x 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches in size and is in nice condition.
