Original NORMANDIE 1935 Blue Riband Bronze Medallion & Blue NORMANDIE Lapel Pin

French Line: Two rare souvenirs given out to First Class passengers when the NORMANDIE won the Blue Riband speed record in 1935.
The first is a 2" diameter bronze medallion. The ship's bow is jutting out of the high-relief portrait where, if you look closely, you can spot the Blue Riband flying from her stern mast. The reverse side shows the ship's shield which was based on that of the province of the same name. The medallion is signed by famed French medalist Maurice Delannoy (1885-1972) who designed many of these commemorative items for CGT.
The second is a lapel or scarf pin featuring a 1.75" long blue Riband with the ship name spelled out in silver. On back is a brass pin. the material feels like plastic or Bakelite. Very good condition.
