This is an original Smooth Rider Camel Pro Springfield Mile 21 x 17-3/4" poster from Sunday September 1, 1990. In 1997 R.J. Reynolds ended their Joe Camel campaign because they were accused of marketing cigarettes to children. This poster advertises 2 things, the top 2/3 is the Camel Filters ad, the bottom 1/3 advertises the Springfield Mile when, where and ticket sales information. The Camel ad has Smooth Rider with Joe Camel flat tracking, fire trailing off the steel shoe, his helmet in one hand, throttle in the other and an unlit Camel in his mouth.
