You're bidding on a nice pair of hand decorated art tiles - 8" square - one of them appears to be artist signed, it looks to me like it says Ame Selauk. Tiles are manufacturer-marked by Marmara Cini, a manufacturer in Kutahya, Turkey. The tiles are beautifully and ornately decorated with traditional, colorful folk scenes - one features a woman dancing to the music of a harpist and drummer - the other, a couple romancing. Both are set in a similar field of wildflowers, tucked into the foothills of a mountain range.
Both are in nice, clean condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. I don't think they're very old, as from what I can tell, Marmara was founded in 1993.
