    This is a set of 9 original illustrations and the cover page from the1874 US Government commissioned report on the viability of the Panama Canal.
    The full title is:

    The lithographs are in great condition with some wrinkles at the edges commensurate with age. There is no damage to the images themselves. Each is labeled “T. Sinclair & Son, LITH. PHILA.”
