    Description

    This auction is for a July 1945 NY Daily Mirror, Servicemen's Edition, newspaper with the headline "Planes Rip 80 Jap Airfields".   It is Vol. 2  No. 28.  The Servicemen's Edition NY Daily Mirror was the compliments of Spear & Company Furniture Store.  They were given to customers coming into there store that could then be sent to servicemen overseas.  The paper measures 6 1/2" by 9" and is 12 pages long.  The newspaper featured war news, national and local news, an editorial page, a sports section and a comic section featuring "Joe Palooka" by Ham Fisher.
    The newspaper is in very nice shape with just minor wear.  The newspaper was sent overseas, folded in an envelope and the center fold is still visible.
    The buyer should include .50 for S & H in the U.S.. International bids are welcome, shipping is extra so please get in touch with me before you bid for rates.
