Considered by many to be the greatest ocean liner ever built,  Normandie was a masterpiece of design and engineering. Completed in 1935, Her lavish interiors were the pinnacle of the art deco movement, and her novel design was groundbreaking. The world had never seen anything like Normandie, and never has since. Doomed by fate, she burned at her pier undergoing conversion to a troop transport in 1942. Though her life was short, Normandie has left a lasting legacy in the Art Deco movement and shipbuilding design.
The legendary Normandie comes back to life from the pages of history in this one of a kind model. Handcrafted from scratch, this model is lovingly made by an artist, not from a kit or factory. Measuring nearly 30 inches long,  she sits atop a 34" handcrafted seascape base.
