    These are two issues of the 'Stars and Stripes' from April 20, 1945 and (not pictured) April 30, 1945, the Daily Newspaper of the US Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations, Paris Edition, 'Leipzig Falls to 1st Army' and 'Two-Power Peace Bid Rejected, Says Moscow' are the two headlines.  Both are in similar condition, the delicate paper, particularly that of the cover, shows wear and tears.
