The collection includes six items featuring the following artists: the Hugh Masekela Ensemble, the Heath Brothers, the Yusef Lateef Quartet, the Curtis Fuller Quintet, the Herb Ellis Quartet, the Phil Woods Quartet, Don Cherry, Red Mitchell, Tommy Flanagan, Nissen Sandstrom, Ted Curson, Chris Wood, Aman Donlian, Ratso Harris, Jeff Williams, Keeter Betts, the Frank Foster Quintet, Arthur Prysock, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, the Water Bisshop, Jr. Quintet, Arnold Sterling and the Marvin Cabell Quintet, Apollo Stumpers, the Ira Sullivan Quartet, Johnny Griffin, the Elvin Jones Quartet, the Shirley Scott Trio, the Woody Shaw Quintet, the Dexter Gordon Quartet, Sun-Ra, the Horace Silver Quintet and the Eddie Jefferson Quartet. Light age toning, minor wear to edges to all items. Center fold crease to five items and one has chips to right edge.
    The Left Bank Jazz Society was a Baltimore based organization formed in 1964, hosting a series of concerts featuring nationally acclaimed performers such as John Coltrane and Duke Ellington.
    Founded by Vernon L. Welsh (10 February 1919 – 8 August 2002) and Benny Kearse (16 March 1930 – 29 June 1999). Welsh recorded hundreds of jazz performances at the Famous Ballroom during the 1960s and 1970s.
