Stars & Stripes US Military Armed Forces Newspaper WWII Germany Edition 1946
In good, aged condition, has been folded for many years.  Overall age yellowing discoloration, brittle, serviceman’s name written at the top of the paper.  No other notations inside.   There are a few tears at the creases and one left side back page column is torn, no missing pieces.  Published February 15, 1946 as “Unofficial paper of the US Armed Forces for the European Theater” The newsprint paper includes news about allies in the war and mainland American news, sports and comics.  One front page article is about Secretary of War Patterson extending the selective service to support the occupation forces overseas.  Total of 8 pages.
Measures: 15” X 11”
