DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a London Edition of The Stars and Striped dated May 14, 1945. I have no problem saying this paper is in excellent condition. Some typical mild yellowing and that's it. Construction remains solid. Additionally, this is one of my favorite of all times issues as it has the picture of all the US Generals posing together for a group photo. I'm not sure Patton is happy with his seating arrangement. This edition also has some interesting articles about a number of the Nazi Generals, as well as, a nice article about Josephine Baker and her role in the war effort. A great informative piece that was found in the bottom of a footlocker where it has been since the end of the war. I am offering this paper with NO RESERVE. Good Luck.
