Vintage The Stars And Stripes May 8 1945 Aug. 15 1945 Reprint near mint.
You can tell these are very old by the paper used, ink type and yellowing of paper. I have five of these I'm willing to sell. These are basically mint condition copies of the front newspaper page of both dates listed above. So they are 2 sided with verbage and images on both sides. These would be great for a classroom ( history at it's finest), bar or restaurant decorations, home decor, or man cave addition you won't be so upset if your one buddy messes it up, and you lovely ladies can slap this up in your she shed for bragging rights! They are in such good condition it would even be fit for a museum.
In the last picture you can see the mild imperfections. The one on top has the tiniest tear on the left bottom corner and all of them have creases in the same spot probably from when the original owner grabbed them to bring home. Even still they are in immaculate condition for the year. I don't know the exact year although I'm pretty sure they were reprinted in 1945 from what my research found. One picture is zoomed in so you can read the enclosed portion on the bottom that states they are a reprint and who did it, that being EAA Aviation Foundation and FLYING Magazine.
This is my first ebay listing. I'm testing the waters with something I want to sell just unsure how I want to sell it. If you have a preference or recommendation I'll be happy to customize / accommodate your needs for a price we're both happy with. I may frame each one of these and or have them professionally inspected before sale. They will be in a time appropriate two-sided frame if I do that. Current price will likely be shipped in Walmart frame for safety.
Also I might have to widely roll it into a tube for safer shipping. I'm working on a better solution because they're so nice. If you have a better idea definitely let me know.
