Condition: WWII, Jan. 29, 1945, "Wingding" Newsletter 91st Photo Wing Recon USAAF. Volume 1, Number 22, Philippines. 10 page issue in GOOD condition, printed on heavier slick magazine stock. There is some fading on front cover and apparent insect damage along the center crease but newsletter was folded rather than cut into the usual pages so this gives an almost perforated appearance and does not detract from contents. Crease marks where newsletter was folded in storage. This issue is sturdy and has lots of photos, features, articles, cartoons, and drawings of interest to GIs stationed in the Pacific during WW2. Scoring ace shoots down seven enemy planes in one mission; Hawkeye Squadron; GI Bill of Rights; Carol Gallagher Pinup.
