is a Rare Vintage WWII Era New York Daily News Newspaper for Jan. 13, 1942
featuring the cover Headline “Singapore Bags 11 Jap Bombers”. Other Headlines
read “Allied Fliers from 50 Secret Bases Blast Enemy Fleet”. The sports news on
the back page features a photo of Boxing great Joe Louis. The Picture
Centerfold headlines reads “Commando Raid / Hawaiian Heroes / Synthetic Rubber
Program”. The 40-page newspaper is a “Brooklyn / Queens / Long Island” edition.
The newspaper is in very good condition, with some foxing along the spine edge
of the outer cover, a name written in one upper corner of the front cover, and
