ARMY AIR FORCES Redistribution Station No.2 presents an illustrated
interpretation of its program in Miami Beach, Florida.
This is a station of the Army Air Forces Personnel Distribution Command, and operates
as a temporary home for personnel returned as individuals from combat units overseas.
The station's function is to carefully adjust, thoroughly examine and
evaluate each returnee, and assign him properly to a job within the Air
Forces and Commands in the United States where he can continue to
make an important contribution to the war effort.
