    WWII ''New York Times'' newspaper from 25 April 1945. Called ''Elbe Day,'' it marks the first meeting of the eastern and western fronts in Berlin. The front-page photo shows the rubble that was Berlin, with a Red Army tank rolling through the city. This was also the first day the United Nations convened. Runs 40pp. Adhesive to left edge, else fine.
